“In learning about the goddesses from different cultures, we can recognize these archetypes as parts of ourselves, allowing us a clearer vision of our strengths and weaknesses and giving us a common thread, a link to the collective unconscious.” –Susan Seddon Boulet
This is Changing Woman. She is perhaps the most revered of deities among the Native Americans of the southwestern United States. She is wholly benevolent and gives the people their abundance. She teaches them how to live in harmony with all things. She teaches the wisdom of nature and the cycles of birth and death.
Beginning in February, we’ll be art journaling Goddesses from across a variety of cultures as we delve into mythic imagination.
During this 5-week LIVE ONLINE ART JOURNALING JOURNEY, you will call forward your wise, brave, rebellious, wounded, loving, and luminous selves.
You will learn about goddess archetypes spanning cultures from the Greek, Celtic, Native American, Egyptian, Scandinavian, Polynesian and more. We will visually explore these inner parts through color, imagery, texture, metaphor, and symbolism.
